We are extremely proud of this young Memphian. Josh Salter personifies what it means to be driven, hard-working and successful. Through his words, we were inspired to help him build his future and realize his dream to become a wonderful role model for his family and our community.

We want to offer special thanks to the producers of the “Josh Salter: Driven to Succeed” video and other media outlets like the Commercial Appeal for covering his story. It is through that coverage that we became aware of this awesome young man and were inspired to be of help to him.

As we state in our Core Values, “Our third responsibility is to our community. We must be good citizens – support good works and charity. We must maintain in good order the property we are privileged to use. We must participate in the promotion of civic improvement, health, education and good government and acquaint the community with our activities.”

As a family, we award this scholarship to Josh Salter of Middle College High School in an effort to support his good works and promote his desire to improve our community by attaining a higher level of education. Josh, we salute you! Keep pressing on!

Memphis Health Center & Ampro Partner to Prevent the Flu!

Flu-Vaccine-for-website-1024x576AMPRO Industries, Incorporated, a Memphis-based manufacturer of personal care and hair styling products, will sponsor  $2,500 for 100 flu shots for the Memphis Health Center’s patients this winter.

“We are pleased to partner with the Memphis Health Center to help protect the uninsured and underserved Memphians during flu season,” commented Camille Wright, Senior Vice President of Public Relations and Social Media Marketing for AMPRO.  “AMPRO is committed to the effort to help improve flu immunization rates in Memphis.  This is one way we respond to the needs of the communities we serve.”
